The last and most sucessful single they had was Start me up, that was the fastest moving single to reach number one in history, the single was second to micheal jackson beat it, at that time that came out a year later in 82
That's difficult to answer, they've had so many great singles over the years. Most recently, i think I'd have to go for Out of Control.
They sucked from day one. I like this genre of music but this collection of humanoids are musically devoid. The English invasion should have ended with The Who and The Beatles; I love these groups. Don't we have immigration levels? You just can't sail. swim or fly across the border and expect to be a pop sensation. Rolling Stones lack talent and should never have recieved the recognition the received . One John Lennon = 100 Mick Jaggers & 1000 Rod Stewarts.
I think the last alburm I bought was Tatoo you, or start me up, but I really liked She's so Cold. I'm a sucker for the older stones albums and songs, Beggars Banquet, and Let it Bleed, Goats Head Soup, I had the album with the real zipper on the front, and you could unzip it and see Mick whiteie tidies. My mom thought that was quite obscene in 1968 orwhatever year. It was so cool
sorry about kevin (they have him locked safely away for his own good)...I have grown up with the stones and have all of their albums(over 55) and any stones album or single is great .... over 4 decades, close to 40 top ten singles, every album has charted higher than top 30, well over 300million sold , still sell out every tour, still in the top 5 annual grossing bands ....legends!! and as they say "the greatest rock'n'roll band in the world"
p.s. and I am a beatles and cream fan !!
