Help answer this question below.
Mix together a solution made of 1 pint water, 1 Tbsp. light vegetable oil and 2 tsp. mild, unscented, liquid hand soap. This will make an insecticidal soap that is effective against soft-bellied insects such as spider mites, mealy bugs, aphids and whiteflies.
Spray outdoor plant foliage in the early morning or evening, when temperatures are below 80 degrees Fahrenheit, to avoid burning it. Indoor plants may be sprayed at any time, but remove plants from direct sunlight until foliage has dried thoroughly.
Inspect plants often and repeat applications of insecticidal soap as necessary. Do not increase solution strength because you are getting good results, as this could be detrimental to plants.
