  • The ones I know about are: the cyanogenic glycosides -- generally alpha-hydroxynitrile type aglycone and a sugar, which is catabolysed down to hydrogen cyanide by a number of enzymes. the cardiac glycosides -- coumarins, digoxin and digotoxin, and the digitalis-like cardenolides, from plants like milkweed, foxglove, oleander(s), and lily-of-the-valley. However, I don't pretend to know all of them.
