How do I remove Virusheat spyware?

    Find Removal Tool

    Find a spyware removal tool. One option is Malware Bytes (see link under Resources). A couple of other options include Spyware Doctor or Smit Fraud Fix (see links under Resouces).

    Run a Scan

    Start your spyware removal tool. Make sure that all of your other programs are closed. This way, the removal software can run fastest and do a thorough job. Choose "Quick Scan." It may take a few minutes to scan your entire computer.

    Remove Files

    Remove Virusheat. After the computer has been scanned, a list of the files that make up Virusheat will appear. Select these programs from the list, and then click the "Remove" button.
