    Professionally Researched. (What's this?)

On One Hand: A Healthy Protein

Protein powder can be an effective and healthy way to support a muscle-building exercise regimen. Protein powder is usually high quality protein that doesn't have any of saturated fat found in red meat and cheese. It contains important amino acids that aid in digestion and the cell-reconstruction processes needed for muscle growth.

On the Other: Risk of Overconsumption

Protein powder can be overused, the result of which can ketosis, acidic blood and acute kidney problems. Kidney stones can also develop as a byproduct of overconsumption of protein powder.

    Bottom Line

Healthy, active people are encouraged to use protein powder as part of a well-balanced diet. The Institute of Medicine, an affiliate of the National Academy of Sciences, suggests that 10 to 35 percent of calories consumed each day should come from protein. Protein powder, when balanced with other protein sources, is perfectly safe.

Anything that's synthesized can't be termed 100% safe.Protein powder are dietary suppliments, but you may never know what's the daily dose your body requires.Docs may advice you to take 10 grams a day, to makeup the protien requirement of the body, but are you sure that someday or the other you don't take more protein in your diet?No matter how careful you are, you may never make up the balance.
excess of protein makes your blood acidic which in turn draws calcium from bones. So, are you sure you could sustain a body with stronger muscles and hollow bones?Ever seen a concete structure standing without steel support.
If you watched some gym goers closely, you could see sores on arms and back. That's due to excess of protein.

Nature had given us so many wonderful things to sustain ourselves and we really don't need any suppliments to make ourselves stronger or build up the body.Milk and milk products, pulses, nuts,
soyabeans, almonds are natural sources of protein. Those who eat eggs, for them eggwhite is the best source of protein, but we go for the easiest route instead. The eating habits of most of us is really ridiculous. We dump junk into our body all day and we take dietary nutritional suppliments to make up the loss. Why not eat a healthy balanced diet, instead?

My sincere advice to all who are trying to build up a good physique or enhance strength, please go natural. Those suppliments would put you in a lot of trouble once you grow older.Intially you might feel the difference, but slowly and gradually they make you weak from inside.
