  • i dont get how you people think it hurts.. it doesnt. =] just use a bigger needle.. by bigger i mean a thicker one.. but i suggest you go to a professional. maybe less pain and stress
  • It would be much better to go to a professional for not just hygenical reasons, but also to make sure it's done "right." That said, I don't think there's a real good way to "stretch" the skin to make a home piercing go easier.
  • DUDE, that has SO just happend to me, I'm not kidding, I'm 13 and I peirced mine yesterday, and I can only fit Earings...so yeaa my advice would to be to wait a few weeks after you peirced it and then try stretching it so that it duz not risk more infection
  • Try buying a needle they arent that much You should try buying a 14G one just make sure its not used and sterilized and all that good stuff. I just got my license to pierce but I still remember when i was 16 and getting mine and how much I loved it. If you have any questions and before you get a pin or tack (or something dumb like that ask me) Because I know how its like to want it and want it so bad you almost wanna do it yourself.or if you have it and your scared and need advice about infections etc. at EvilPenguinz@kittymail.com This is not so you pierce yourself or your friends
  • well, i pierced my eyebrow myself, and the needle wasn't big enough, so i put a regular earing in, waited a few days, then stretched it, try that.
  • I want to do the same cause I don't have the money or facility to travel right now to go meet someone who could eventually do it to me for free lol..so..Well tribe members do it and they don't go to a professional and even sterylize. But hey I'm not here trying to give away bad advices, at all, I'm very concerned and conscient, but well I would love to get myself a new piercing and I'm not doing anything, like tattoos too for quite a long, and somehow miss it and also because now I'm older and can't get myself no longer any new piercing or tattoo in any exposed body part, so I can find a job, so I started thinking 'bout the belly one, wich I didn't use to like but now for that reason starts to look like a good solution. I already have one on my tongue and under the lip, made of course by professionals, and not even I would ever advice anyone to try doing such body parts like those at home! But belly doesn't seem that bad for such an experience like this one..lol. So I'm guessing- trying to find that round holed clip which grabs the skin (only that tiny skin able to be grabbed, not the whole flesh), first mark to pierce the place with a marker(draw 2 little points),PUT SOME LATEX GLOVES ON YOUR HANDS!(previously well washed), then you take this thick needle (a thick one really)as thick as the whole you want to get, you desinfect the needle by burning the edge of it(always with the gloves!)and then you grab an ice cube and let it on your belly for as long as you start to fell your skin burning a little as also getting unsensible. Then you pierce it ALL THE WAY DOWN without hesitating,BY THE MARKS, then you leave the needle there;pick a sterylized brand new proper earing, LARGE, BECAUSE YOUR SKIN WILL SWELL UP, DON'T FORGET IT.Then you insert that earing in the brand new hole you've made, substituing the neddle at the same time, and that's it I guess. Then you treat the wound as usual in pro. piercings: "betadine",water with salt.Never playing with it with your hands daily, at least until it's totally cured, and always treating it using gloves, in the process of healing.Large cotton clothes, no belts. Anyway don't want to be responsible for any personal act,we shouldn't ever do this at home by ourselves anyway. Try to get more information and maybe talking with some pros in the area, pro. friends of yours better because unknown people will always say that this is crazy and will try to get you into their studios to do it:S
