The longer I am in this, the longer I am not at work or At least I am no longer at work

It will keep you out of wark longer and its a good time to call someone, apply makeup, and drink as much coffee as you can handle
-
Yes, I can tell honey, he has to pick up the kids. YES!

Have a book in the car with you
-
It gives you time to fully wake up and double check yourself to insure that you won't walk into work and suddenly realise you forgot to put on pants that morning. And hey, it's got to be better than work.

I used to commute by bus into the city and sometimes would spend an hour stuck in rush hour traffic. I used to do my reading for classes on the bus, so that was a positive! Other than that, I detest everyone who drives in rush hour. I'm doing my part getting the bus and I resent that the space my car could have ben taking up is just replaced by someone else- argh!!

It could have been called the 'crawl along, for 2 or 3 hours' traffic!

I used to deal with this on a daily basis, living and commuting within the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. It took a while to get used to, but after a while, I used it to reflect on my life; if traffic is crawling, just lose yourself and enter your own world. Sing along to the radio, look at other commuters and try to imagine what their life is like...the worst thing you can do is get stressed out about it though.

It is a time to chill before you get into the work rush or get home and have to clean the house... I used to listen to the radio, eat my toast and drink my coffee while I just chilled my way to work. I did some of my best thinking driving to and from work!

hey, it could be worse, you could be stuck in a flaming wreck
-
Imagine the comically GTA-like crash if some Carl Johnson inspired daredevil decides to come burning into the jam with a freight train.

In this City there is no possible good way of looking at the rush hour. Courts and the legal system do not believe there is such a thing. So the only good way is to leave nearly 2 hours early for work We are practically gridlocked with very narrow old streets.
-
Dont be in a hurry and think of it as a car and truck party in the steets. I never get road rage, but I find humor in those who do.
-
I use to fall asleep in rush hour traffic; thankfully I don't have to drive in it any more. That a positive!

the longer im in this.. the later i have to go see my husband/wife. JK (lol) well, say you have to put up a shelf/clean out the pool or something of that manner.. you get time to rest. and just sit back and listen to the radio and have to think :)
