  • The problem with that is that there usually is no specific age, so people are just saying that they did when a person says they did and when they judge that the person did.
  • Usually around 16, depending on the circumstances (also varies from state to state). If you can support yourself, without depending upon anyone else, then you're basically proving that you are accountable for yourself.
  • If you mean the age at which the person is held accountable for his or her sins by God, the Jews believed it was about age 13.
  • "Seven" By then you should know the difference between right and wrong.
  • About the age of 5 these days. Kids are matureing faster and quicker.
  • In general terms, I'd say relatively early. Once you're old enough to understand right from wrong, you're old enough to learn actions have repercussions. Within reason, this can be as young as 4 or 5.
  • depends on what kind of accountability. I think even as children we develop certain levels of accountability, to our parents, our responsibilities to them and to school etc. As we get older we become more accountable to more and more. As far as legal accountability goes, I think it depends on the crime and the intent, something I don't think we can place an age or standard on if the person is under 18. hence we have courts and juries etc. do weigh the facts and decide if the person should be accountable as an adult or a minor.
  • In my opinion, I would say 10. The age varies though.
  • nice question.i think it is 40.young age past in only enjoy.
  • 18 says the law...!
  • At any age a child chooses to conscientiously lie to someone or harm for the sake of causing harm.
  • The "Age of Accountability" is a false doctrine. Nowhere in the Bible is an "Age of Accountability" mentioned. What is mentioned is the fact that ALL must repent of their sins or face enternity in Hell. I hate to say this, but we are all born into sin and without repentance through Jesus Christ we die and go to hell....babies included. That is Biblical Doctrine, don't get mad at me for claiming the word of God. If you disagree please provide me with verses to the contrary that prove that God allows a sinful person without the saving blood of Jesus into Heaven.
  • accountabl to whum for wht???... jus dependz on the 'wht'... peace!!!
  • That can vary from culture to culture and nation to nation and even then the rules are flexable. All things being equal, ( and they never are ), I'd say the age of about 14 or 15 is a good place to start thinking that person is accountable for all there actions.
