My father, then when I was about 12-13 and my parents were out of town, I learned more on my own, using their car and driving around the neighborhood. :)

My father tried to teach me and a driving school game me all the lessons I could afford - I still kept failing the road test. I finally gave up and got a moped license; all I had to do was not run over the examiner. :)

In a couple of months I tried and passed the motorcycle test and a year or so later, the car test. So I guess you could say that the person who really taught me to drive was - me!

LOL. he just made it seem like I was in control, if I did something wrong he would correct it. Also he was in charge of the brakes and the gas till I was 13. It was in my hometown usually down mainstreet.(its a lowspeed thorofare.)
