I lock my door and roll the window up so that there's a crack about an inch to 2 inches from the top.
-
Neither. I open the door and step out to meet him/her.
-
Base it on the body language of the stranger
-
UP. and ignore.
-
It depends on how they are approaching and what it seems like they want. I'll often roll it down just a crack so I can hear what people are saying and if it doesn't sound good, I roll it back up immediately. If I hear that they want directions, I'll roll it down just a bit more so they can hear me and I'll tell them the directions.
-
I usually roll it down. Always seems to be someone asking for directions.
-
My windows are stuck in the up position so it's a moot point for me.
-
Up- I often travel alone. Just finished reading A Stranger Beside Me- and I am even more cautious now!
-
i take off. nah, jk ...well...maybe.
-
Up goes the window - Fast
-
If the stranger looks non-threatening, I roll the window down just enough to hear what he/she wants. I am not all that trusting of strangers.
-
When ppl i don't know try to approch me when i'm in my car. When there about 10 ft away.I let them know not to come any closer to my vehicle. If they need to ask me something. They can do it from where there standing. If someone just walks up and sticks there head in my window and starts talkin.Sorry about there luck. They will think twice about doing that again.

I would just open it a bit, ya know. The cigarette position; the one you use when you're smoking to let the smoke out. I've never actually had to deal with this, but that's what I'd do.
-
It all depends on the color of their skin. Kidding, kidding, GOSH.
-
I would rool up the window because in my town there are really crazy and sometimes unstable people.
-
Up, you never know.
-
My windows are always up, so I can only roll them down, but only depending on how that person looks like, if he or she looks crazy, weird, suspicious or not.
