Kaplan University offers a variety of online degrees, from associate's to master's and law degrees. If you want to take Kaplan classes, the university will accept you and will help you with financial aid, according to Online Education Database. More than 90 percent of Kaplan's students receive financial aid, which includes grants and loans. Kaplan will accept you, but that doesn't mean you will get your degree. Though Online Education Database notes that 75 percent of students want to stay there, only 38 percent actually graduate. The college was cited only 100 times in Google Scholar, a sign that the program is not producing many scholars who are publishing their work. Kaplan has been doing master-level courses for only five years, not long by normal college standards. Online Education Database ranks Kaplan University right in the middle, 22nd of 44 distance-learning schools. Kaplan is relatively well known, with 410 other college websites linking to it, but its program is in the middle to bottom of the pack for academics and graduation rates. On One Hand: Everyone Gets in
On the Other: Far Fewer Graduate
