DHTML stands for Dynamic HyperText Markup Language. It actually consists of three components: JavaScript (not to be confused with Java), Cascading Stylesheets and the Document Object Model. DHTML allows designers to implement interactive features on their page (one form element affecting the content or action of another form element, for example), and include such things as element movement, updating content and invisibility.
