Help answer this question below.
Whose saying we evolved from monkeys?
The only people I've ever heard even mention such a thing are creationists who don't understand the theory of evolution.
As for the monkey's origin, there is a long lineage of ancestors to the primate clearly evident in the fossil record. How far back do you want to go?
How many times do people with this ludicrous belief have to be told nobody ever suggested that humanity is descended from monkeys? The theory is that all primates are descended from a common ancestor.
So do you think you could let that piece of information sink in and stop spreading misinformation please.
Stromatolites made the monkey. Nighty night.
if that was the case then monkeys would no longer exist, but they do. We did not evolve from monkeys we just share a common ancestor with monkeys.
If you're going to argue evolution you should at least understand it.
Super monkeys
Ok, it seems that there is some serious misconception here about the evolution of mankind.
The theory doesn't say we evolved from monkeys...only that all primates evolved from a common ancestor.
Second, I wish to definitively answer the question as to who made the monkey...and everything else:
The Chief did.
'nuff said.
As opposed to what?
Being descended from a pile of dirt?
The Monkey's mommy and daddy.

You're reading People think we evolved from monkeys...WHO DO YOU THINK MADE THE MONKEY?
Comments
actually ive heard alot of evolutionist say we evolved from monkeys but not just with animals my point is it couldn't have made itself right? i mean think about it how did everything on the earth and beyond it start?

I'm far more willing to concede that you've heard evolutionists say that we "share a common ancestor with monkeys", and you misinterpreted it.
In any event, you have now switched gears. Once you start talking about the conditions and events BEFORE the formation of live, you have stepped outside the theory of evolution and are talking about something entirely different.
We are currently investigating the origins of life, and the early conditions of the current form of the universe. There are some promising hypothesis, but no working theories yet. I could speculate as to what I believe is most likely, but this would be disingenuous as I am far from certain.
There are people who have given up investigating and have invoked "magic" explanations like God. Of course, these people have no more proof than anyone else does.
Be patient...we are learning. Humility is important, and we will never find out we listen to people who arrogantly assert that they already have all the answers, when in fact they have only guesses.

Well actually i wouldn't call it "magic" plus we have more information than evolutionist do because men have it documented (bible) of course scientist are going to try and figure how everything started but really thats impossible everything cant be created on its own after all how are you and me created we need a woman and a man to create us right? and if it wasnt for that you or me wouldnt be here right now. So im just saying everything on this earth has to be created by something and im sure that a man didnt do it it had to be someone pretty powerful...hmm maybe God?

The Marriam-Webster dictionary would:
"2 a : an extraordinary power or influence seemingly from a supernatural source."
The book of Genesis is on man's opinion (likely that of Moses, though this has been increasingly debated as of late) as to the origin of the universe. Having it written down makes it no more reliable. I could come up with a crazy idea and write it down in no time at all.
Even this however is not evidence. It is simply an attempt to explain a mystery using an even bigger mystery. How did God create the universe? What mechanism did he use? What particle does he control that can create mass where none existed before, and how do we measure it?
This is a concept. It does nothing to further our knowledge of the origins of the natural world, and suffers from a complete inability to be empirically verified. It is worthless in terms of explanatory value.
Where did you get the knowledge required to make the claim that "everything can't be created on its own?" Didn't we already establish that we don't know? More importantly, how do you define "everything"? We've demonstrated that life can form from non-living material given sufficient conditions, and found that simple life structures are present on extra-terrestrial objects.
This is why I asked "How far back do you want to go?" We continue to demonstrate mechanisms that allow for earlier and early necessary steps in the formation of life. Magic explanations are no longer the only game in town.
Human beings in their current form do in fact require a male and a female (or biological components from each) to be conceived, and acquire enough genetic material to begin growing into a human being. This is pretty basic stuff. We know however that methods of procreation vary wildly in the animal community, and some organisms are self-replicating.
...But it seems that you've answered your own question anyway. If human beings require a man and a woman to be created, then God could not possibly have done it, being neither a human man, nor a human woman.
You present a false dichotomy in your last sentence...either man must have done it, or a magical being must have done it, and no other options exists. How do you know that no other options can possibly exist, especially when we have solid evidence for at least one more.
Could we be here as the result of a magical supernatural force that has no manifestation in the physical world? Sure. No honest person could claim to know that this is impossible. The lack of evidence for such a proposition however, and the mounting evidence for a natural explanation makes this increasingly less likely.

well thats what you want to think god can do because hes "god" if he was a regular man he wouldnt be able to create earth or anything else thats how you feel but im going to stick to my religion
by iLOVEJESUS on February 28th, 2010
I don't remember ever saying that God could not create the Earth, or that God was a regular man.
In any event, I did address your question...which was probably more rhetorical than anything else, and as I predicted, we'll have to agree to disagree on this one.
It's been nice talking with you.
