  • Christmas. I love the feeling of family and community and the REAL reason Christians should celebrate. Most people could care less if it's my birthday or not.
  • Christmas, because I can share my happiness with others, plus the fact that you don't usually have Christmas turkey on your birthday!
  • G'day HannaH, Thank you for your question. I prefer Christmas for several reasons. Firstly, I celebrate Christmas with all of my family and it is fun seeing my nieces and nephews unwrap their presents whereas I am normally by myself on my birthday. Secondly, I normally have three weeks leave around Christmas while I am hard at work on my birthday. Thirdly, Christmas in Australia is in summertime while my birthday is on June 21 which is the shortest day of the year. Regards
  • I prefer my birthday. I don't celebrate Christmas. (I would prefer Yule - the holiday I celebrate - to my birthday.)
  • Either one actually is ok with me. My birthday is always celebrated on Thanksgiving so it's like a holiday for me every year. I like them both equally.
  • I'd have to go with Christmas just because I like giving people presents as much as I like redeiving them.
  • I'm a Jewish Christmas baby. I care more about my birthday than Christmas.
  • Christmas. The dinner's better!
  • Christmas... although it all blends into one for me as my birthday is 3 days before xmas :)
  • birthday
  • X mas for me
  • christmas.. is my holiday..
  • Honestly, I could never choose between them although as it is April and my birthday is so very close I would have to go with the closer of the two... My Birthday! However, ask again in November and my answer may change! I love celebrating any holiday that involves friends, family and a tall glass of rye!
  • My birthday. As a general rule my Christmases (And just about all my holidays, for that mater.) are terrible. All my firends are gone on vacation, I'm forced to see my family, I'm stressed out worrying about my few firends who are on vacation, etc. Whereas on my birthday I'm free to pass my day quietly with my friends and loved ones.
  • Christmas as i get to see more of my family, everyone forgets my birthday boo hoo.
  • my birthday. i don't really like the concept of christmas and i definitely don't like the reality of it. mass consumerism at its worst! plus, i don't like being pressured to go back and visit "home". it's so cold and winter is the one season there that i don't like and that ends up usually being the only time i'm there!
  • Christmas, since nobody remembers my birthday. And at my age, birthdays are too depressing, yes I'm an old fart!
  • I prefer Christmas, because during that holiday I get to see and spend more time with family I normally don't get to see alot during the year.
  • Christmas - when all come together
  • Christmas!!!! Nobody makes a fuss about how OLD you are getting at Christmas. Not usually anyway...
  • CHRISTMAS all the way!!! it's just so great... the feeling you get when you are around your loved ones on that special day... ahhh...
  • It is much better to celebrate the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ. Everything is possible through him.
  • i prefer my birthday because i get more crap(cool stuff)in my freaken 11 year old life. by: No name please!
  • Christmas by far. I start putting up x-mas lights on thanksgiving and I don't take them down until the end of January. A persons birthday is kind of a selfish day, I mean all eyes on you right, but with Christmas it's all about the giving and being together, I know the holiday has been commercialized but that's because it is so popular.
  • birthday. i would have said christmas, but its become to commercial for me. i just get annoyed at it now.
