It just depends who is on AB at the times that questions get asked. Some people like to try to answer all on the front page. Some like to answer the first page of new questions. Some like to answer questions where they are considered experts at the site. So, if you happen to ask a question when any of these people are on AB, a question will get answered quickly. However, if you are on AB at a slow time, it'll take awhile for questions to be answered.
