I was hopeless at doing pictures on Etch-a-sketch but I would sit for hours going back & fore until it was clear & you could see the mechanism below. Then I'd give it a shake & start over.

Buddy the Elf was pretty sweet with the etch-a-sketch. Me, not so much, but I considered it a victory when I learned how to make a curve.

Yes, there are Etch-A-Sketch artists who do drawings and then remove the stuff that lets them clear and draw so the drawing stays and they make a living off of doing this!
