It is rare but men can develop yeast infections, which are not sexually transmitted infections. Having unprotected sex can pass a yeast infection from a woman to a man. Symptoms in men include swelling, red dots or white patches on the penis tip, painful urination and dry or peeling skin.Source:
Most definitely! I found this out the hard way about a dozen years ago. After a few days of a progressively worsening sore throat, with white sores on my tongue, throat, and inside my mouth, I had pain in my chest. I went to see a doctor in the ER. He decribed my tongue as "geographic tongue," as the pattern of sores made it look like a map. Something made me ask if a could have contracted a yeast infection through oral sex. He told me that it would take 7 to 10 days to incubate, which made the timing right. The woman denied having had a yeast infection (it is possible to NOT know at the onset, but by then she would have) when I asked her about it, but right after that one of her friends asked about it. Last time I was ever with her! (Although later on she called and asked me if I wanted to come over and "get lucky." I declined.)
