I was going to respond with a remark about how dangerous the peak is. However I've done a bit of research and discovered that only 9.8% of all climbers up everest lose their lives, compared with 20% of all non-exercising, big mac eating americans. Well, for that kind of cash, I would be willing to try, but I probably would not get permission from the Nepalese government to even approach the mountain - I am not in good physical condition, have no climbing experience and would be a very high risk for needing rescue.
