    Professionally Researched. (What's this?)

There is no particular blood glucose level that is considered perfect when you are taking Glucophage (metformin). It depends on your individual medical needs and what other medications you're taking to control your diabetes. As a rule, however, you should aim for levels of between 70 and 130 milligrams/deciliters (mg/dL) to control your blood glucose levels.
