  • Though it doesn't affect the point value, it does affect the percentage. There are limits with rating so you don't abuse that priviledge, which, if allowed, would completely change the percentage based on the ratings one person is giving.
  • There is also a limit on the positive points you can give someone. I think the reasoning is that they don't want anyone to use points (either negative or positive)to reward or punish someone else.
  • oh, here's one i can definitely answer. here's a fact about us humans: when someone disagrees with you, you're going to think s/he is wrong, no matter how logical the answer is. so, when you use realistic (or "negative", as pussies call it) points of view, people are gonna whine that you're being too pessimistic. but then again, maybe you're wrong, they're right, and you should feel like an idiot. since this is a pretty negative response, i expect offensive responses. but... that just proves me right.
  • To disallow someone trolling another too much.
