If the price of a barrel of oil declined by $100 a barrel two days ago, how come the price of gasoline is still rising?

Just as all merchandise, the new oil being purchased is in the back of inventory. There is an ongoing 3-4 month supply constantly being cycled. My disgust is when it goes up in price and the pumps immediately show the increase, thats just greed on the oil companies end with little or no justification.. but the public hears that prices are going up on the radio and see the pumps go up too so they swallow it. I hope that the oil companies are fearful that we will no longer be using gasoline as a fuel and are running scared.... the germils!!! For every $2.00 increase in crude oil per barrel, the pump price should be no more than 3cents increased.
