Question

Help answer this question below.

What is the most obscure, off the wall, not well known movie you have ever seen? Is it old, is it indy, is it just weird? Would you be willing to bet I've never heard of it? Home movies don't count ;)

Harold & Maude - maybe strange, yet I like it. Pretty well known actually - I would guess you have heard of it.

I would have to say Pink Flamingos, a movie where a transvestite eats dog poop.

wow i have many.. but Im gonna say "Sweethearts" (1996) with Janeane Garofalo.

A man is setup on a blind date with Jasmine but she´s bit different then what he had hoped for. She just got out of a mental institution, she´s manic-depressive, carrying a gun and contemplating suicide (and perhaps homicide). Besides these two main characters there´s also the philosophical bartender, at the bar at which the two meet and most of the film occurs.

Madame X (No it's not porn, lol!) Very very sad movie about a woman trying to right her mistakes and losing her family then not being able to tell them who she is when she finds them again.

LOCAL HERO (1983) very dry, quirky REALLY funny. Burt Lancaster in an instant classic character only he could play. A mild environmental theme set in backwater Scotland.
It IS on many critics' top-100-of-all-time lists, but still pretty low-key & obscure.

A short called "Rabbi Rick and the Hamburger Choo Choo." I think it was made in 1999 or 2000 by Alexandra Brodsky, who also did the film "Bittersweet Place" 2005 (Indy film) Think Sundance channel is showing it this month. +5
I bet you never heard of it.
How about Scorpio Rising. The Dove.
OH here is a great one. You may know it. Greaser's Palace. 1974 By Robert Downey Sr. (Young Robert Downey jr. age 5 is in it.)

Mondo Trasho and Multiple Maniacs are pretty obscure and definitely off the wall. They are among my most favorite movies of all time.
    (both directed by John Waters)
Jesus Christ Vampire Hunter is also one of the weirdest I have ever seen. Not a favorite though, just weird.

a movie with Carmen Electra called Mating habits of the Earthbound Humans. The movie is very off-the-wall but one of the funniest movies I ever seen. A MUST see.
