    Professionally Researched. (What's this?)

Peyronie's disease causes an abnormal curvature in an erect penis. The disorder may cause discomfort or even extreme pain during sexual intercourse, according to the Women's Therapy Center. But the disease in itself does no harm. According to the Mayo Clinic, doctors generally do not treat Peyronie's in men who can maintain a satisfactory sexual relationship with a woman.
