How do you solve this? x-6+3(x+1)=4x-7

    If you need to show ur work I think it would play our something like this...
    X-6+3(x+1)=4x-7
    x-6+3x+3=4x-7
    x+3x-4x=6-3-7
    0=-4
    ur answer should be undefined

    You could use one of the online algebra calculators, like...
    http://algebrahelp.com/calculators/equation/
    which tells me that this is not a proper algebra equation because both sides aren't equal.
