Probiotics
Probiotics are also known as "beneficial bacteria." According to Digestive Advantage, flooding the gut with probiotics, in this case GanedenBC30, supports a healthy digestive system.
IBS Symptoms
Doctors at the University of Maryland Medical Center note that 10 to 20 percent of the population experiences IBS at one time or another. The common symptoms of IBS are bloating, gas, diarrhea and constipation.
Types
IBS can be difficult to control as the symptoms can be erratic. Some sufferers deal primarily with diarrhea, others with constipation and yet many others may deal with both on an alternating basis.
Effects
Digestive Advantage claims that by taking one tablet per day, IBS sufferers will notice changes somewhere between the first week and first month of use, depending on the severity of symptoms. They note that side effects are minimal and that some individuals may require two tablets per day.
