Liquor seems to be 10 times as dangerous, as far as, physical, verbal, and emotional violence, go. Not to mention the impairment it causes. So why is pot illegal, and liquor is not?

because, once you get pot, you seem like you can'T have enough, while liquor, you can have some, then yo're tired of it...

Because prohibition af alcohol did not work. If you check you will find the Pot became illegal around the end of prohibition. The Mob has to have something to sell, or how could they buy politicians?

pot is illegal because of dupont and hearst. In the 1920's a way to make paper cheaply from hemp was developed. Hearst stood to lose millions from loss of sale of trees and dupont stood to lose millions from loss of profits from a new chemical process he had developed to turn wood into paper pulp.
