Sweet oil is a common homeopathic remedy for ear aches, especially in young children. Several drops of sweet oil in each ear is believed to help soothe pain. It can also be used to remove ear wax.
Hair Conditioner
Warm sweet oil massaged into the hair also works as an inexpensive hot oil treatment to deep-condition dry, brittle tresses.
Cuticle Conditioner
Sweet oil is an inexpensive alternative to special cuticle and nail products. Massage sweet oil into cuticles and nails to help soften and condition them.
Fun Fact
Drinking a tablespoon of sweet oil in water before bed is a home remedy reported to help stop snoring.
