Help answer this question below.
Because plants and animals are living organisms, they require certain resources and elements in nature to survive. While some plants and animals are simpler than others, they are all relatively complex, and therefore they need strict maintenance in order to function properly. Almost every living organism needs water. Plants and animals need water for proper cell operation and fluid production. Both plants and animals need nutrients in order to maintain healthy cell structure and function. Animals ingest nutrients in food, while plants ingest through their roots and by converting the sun's light into energy. Oxygen is essential for the existence of both plants and animals. Animals inhale oxygen and exhale carbon dioxide, while plants inhale carbon dioxide and exhale oxygen. Energy enables plants and animals to move and function. Plants use carbon dioxide to turn sunlight into energy. Animals get energy from the calories in food. Plants and animals need each other to survive. This symbiotic relationship forms an ecosystem, providing a stable environment in which both plants and animals can thrive.Water
