    Educational Psychology

    This class focuses on the way students and teachers react to each other, as well as the way students learn. Cognitive development is also gone over, as well as different ways of instruction.

    Education in a Multi-Cultural Society

    This is a new study field that helps to create educational opportunities that are equal for all students. It helps teachers to realize that all cultural, racial and ethnic groups are equal and have equal opportunities to learn.

    Education in the Exceptional Child

    This course will teach the new teachers how to recognize and assist students with special abilities as well as students who need special help from them or other faculty members.

    Supervised Student Teaching

    During this course, you will be teaching in a classroom, overseen by a teacher. You will be creating lesson plans and teaching the students the lesson of the day. You will make up tests, administer and grade them.

    Teaching Methods

    This course will help the new teacher to recognize all the different teaching methods available to them in the classroom. Some of the methods are discussion, lectures, brainstorming, videos and worksheets.
