<h4 class="dechead">On One Hand: Repliva is used to treat anemia
Repliva (or Repliva 21/7) is a mix of Iron, Vitamin C, Vitamin B12 and folic acid that is specifically meant to treat anemia. The drug does not claim to, and has not been approved to treat anything other than anemia.
On the Other: Iron deficiency can cause hair loss.
Iron deficiency, especially in women, has been linked to hair loss. Although an increase in iron may not specifically regrow hair, it can prevent and perhaps correct hair loss due to iron deficiency. Since Repliva contains a significant amount of iron, it could possibly aid in solving an iron deficiency-based hair loss problem.
Bottom Line
Since Repliva is only meant to treat anemia, it should not be used to treat hair loss or to regrow hair without consulting a doctor. There may be better sources of iron that could better aid in hair restoration or hair loss prevention, and a licensed doctor will be aware of most patients' specific situations enough to make an educated decision on which treatment is most appropriate.
