It may look like it freezes sometime, but all you have to do is look at the bottom of the screen and it should give you the option of a button to press (it's usually O) . It won't automatically load once it's completed the installation. For example, if you save/load/install NCAA 2009 you have to press the O button to get out of the 100% saved/loaded/installed screens.
If that doesn't work, then it sounds as if you have a defective machine and may need to seek out a warranty replaced machine or even a brand new machine.
i cant see video but can hear audio when i turn on my ps3, what did i do wrong?

my slim ps3 wont pull disc in,can i link my fat ps3 to it as a external hard drive(slim one fell but has larger hard drive)

My Playstation disc drive will not work. There is nothing in the disc drive and when I try to put a disc in, It will not grap the disc.

You're reading I just got my ps3 and tried to do the initial setup of the a game. The install keeps getting to 100% and then freezes. How can i fix it?
