• lol....according to Dr. Ruth, less than 5% of women enjoy anal sex. Which one of us is misleading? If you are one of the lucky 5%, then count your blessing that you are not suffering like the rest of us, but dont accuse someone else for speaking statical fact! Also, according o Dr.Ruth, anal sex (in the long term) causes permanant damage to the rectum and causes incontinance at abnormally early ages. You can check with any medical doctor, anal sex is strongly advised against. Men were poled in Maxim magazine about anal sex. The vast majority admitted that the thrill was in his abilty to cause her pain for his enjoyment.

• "Doctor" Ruth does not have an MD. She has a sociology degree. Her medical opinion on the safety of any sex act is as relevant as a homeless man behind your local convenience store.
  
  Now, since "any doctor" will tell me this, why don't you find someone who has an actual medical degree and source them?
  
  As for Maxim, you're going to need to list a specific issue and author before I even consider that statement. You are, after all, the person taking medical advice from a sociologist. Even if it were true though, it proves nothing other than that a subsection of Maxim readers, chosen by Maxim to print, hold that opinion.
  
  All men are not Maxim readers (I've never met a man who reads Maxim), and Maxim has full editorial control to slant any article any way they please. Post actual, legitimate sources please. Medical journals. Scientific studies. Things that are not pop-culture icons.

• I dont recall saying that all men read Maxim; I think you just made that part up! I quoted Dr. Ruth, but i didnt say that she was the only source. You can also verify through Dr. Huan Ta of Bush Medical center, in 29 palms, Ca. OR Dr. Sofonio Of Palm Springs, CA. Both highly accredited medical specialists.Dr. Sofonia specialized in cosmetic rectal reconstruction (due to sodomy)
  
  If I am so misleading, why dont you personally poll women on how they enjoy anal sex? Your finding will be in contradiction of your arguement. Of course, I suspect yu already now that!

• I have to ask...do you honestly believe that most women enjoy anal sex, or are you just confrontational? This is hot topic everywhere right now. Its common knowledge that most women do not enjoy or even want anal, and that most men do want it. I find it hard to believe that anybody would be completely unaware of the issue.

• Anal sex does not need to hurt. Sometimes discomfort is preferred by one or both partners, sometimes it isn't.
  
  That isn't to say it is easy to do painlessly. It requires absolute trust by both parties as well as the receiver being completely and totally relaxed and often already completely sexually aroused. A good non-spermicide condom. A ton of good quality lube (this is often overlooked because the vagina produces its own lubrication, the rectum however does not). Oh and obviously the receiver needs to be free of hemorrhoids.
  
  For the giver it requires absolute patience and an ability and willingness to pace themselves. It may require stimulation with one or more fingers prior to inserting the penis, every time. Or using a number of differently sized dildos, every time. All of which need to be properly lubed as well.
  
  At the very worst it should feel no more uncomfortable than a normal bowel movement, bowel movements are indeed uncomfortable for some and those people may want to hold off on anal sex. However for some bowel movements are a relaxing or relieving sensation.
  
  Some women do find it very enjoyable, and more probably would if guys gave a damn about their partners feelings instead of just dry humping some poor woman's rear with no regard.
  
  For guys it can feel better, without practice it is easier to make the anus tight compared to the vagina. The former is a muscle control probably everyone by the age of 2 knows if they have ever needed to hold it and find a bathroom. The latter takes training in how to control the muscles of the vaginal wall as well as exercise.
  
  Most guys find tightness appealing. The catch with tightness and anal is that the tighter the receiver squeezes the higher the chance for pain and may feel compelled to put up with it if their partner seems happy, however the partner can't feel their discomfort and may not realize it. Open communication is key.

  Anal sex IS risky, but most of those risks go out the window automatically if the discomfort has been removed. i.e. the guy is gentle and slow. • Let's see what % of straight men enjoy a penis in their butt. I do believe the less than 5% of women that enjoy anal. In fact, less than 50% of women enjoy vaginal or any type of sex. That's because more than 50% of women prefer other things, including cuddling, kissing, chocolate, etc over sex.

  One study with a sample size of 3000 women from Chicago, New York, and Los Angeles.
  
  The study found that women prefer sex when it includes cuddling, rather than sex without any cuddling, while men did not have a preference.
  
  Further the study found that sex was better when both parties had time to take things slowly, on weekends for example.
  
  The study also found the roughly in half of married couples both partners initiated sex equally.
  
  The study is exploring that in that the busy lifestyle of today living in large cities that too many couples do not have time to cuddle and to show each other affection most of the week, and therefore their sex lives have less flare and suffer for it.
  
  I'm not sure how the Tyra Show might have twisted that into women preferring cuddling over sex, rather than women preferring sex with cuddling. As for the comments on that website there is no way to verify their gender nor age.

• Do a Google search, there are numerous studies showing women prefer cuddling, chocolate and many other things over/instead of sex. I could be in a much longer relationship with a woman by giving her cuddles and chocolate vs. a guy who gives her sex but no cuddles nor chocolate.
