Yes, I've heard of the Law of Attraction. I think it has a certain limited truth, but people make too much of it. More importantly, I think that people who focus on trying to "exploit" this principle are really missing an important point about thoughts -- to become a mature individual with a well-developed understanding of life and oneself, we really have to exert effort coming to understand our own thoughts. That requires observation and awareness, not self-manipulation. Those who focus on the latter and not the former will be disappointed when they find themselves right back where they started after years of trying to "positive think themselves into happiness".

The Law of Attraction is based on the idea that "Thought Creates" Which, if you think about that, is absolutely true! Nothing comes into our existence without first having an idea or thought. But also it's much more than just thinking to make it become a real thing. For instance most people think about how nice it would be to to have wealth, yet it never happens to them. Why? Because they have conflicting thoughts that are more dominate that the thought "I want wealth". So at some level; either conscious, or unconsciously, they resist the desire to become wealthy. So to make the law of attraction work, we have to be very in tune with who we really are and what it is we really want.
