Question

Help answer this question below.

What's a good remedy for this?

I have a really bad stomach ache, I think due to this antibiotic I'm taking. The pharmacist said that I could have diarrhea if I took one pill within 10 hours of another one. I haven't done this, the last pill I took before I took one this morning was last night (and that was definitely 10 hours before). Any ideas on how on how to get rid of this terrible stomach pain, and possibly help prevent diarrhea?

After 8 surgeries and many, many antibiotics, I've come across this problem with several antibiotics.

    What has worked for me:

-Never take on an empty stomach!
--Take after a meal, a glass of milk (make sure it's not an antibiotic you're not supposed to have dairy with, there are some!), crackers or even just a piece of toast.

    -Never take with carbonated beverages.
--I make sure not to have sodas/carbonated drinks a half hour before to a half hour after the dose.

-Set a timer for your dosage times.
-- If it says twice a day, make sure it's 12 hours apart. Don't just take a breakfast and dinner, be precise. Many antibiotics are very harsh on your digestive system, it needs time to recover. :)

I know we're all different and what works for one may not work for another. I hope atleast one of these can help as it's helped me.

    Take care! :)
