Claim
Michael A. Savina, M.D., a New York urological surgeon, endorses Maxoderm on its official website. He states the cream does indeed "enhance the quality of erections."
How it Works
Maxoderm states use of the cream enhances oxygen flow to the penis, which in turn increases blood flow and helps thicken the erection.
Application
Men should apply the cream--using self-massage to their sexual organ--right before sexual activity.
Time Frame
Men using the cream usually experience increased sensation and firmer erections in about 60 seconds, according to the manufacturer's website.
Significance
Erectile dysfunction can indeed be caused by reduced oxygen flow to the penis, according to the Mayo Clinic. However, no studies about Maxoderm's actual efficacy in increasing penile oxygen flow have been published as of 2009.
