  • Honestly, I don't know anything about dogs. But personally, I'd have to say I wouldn't replace my carpet if I thought my new carpet was going to continue to be peed on. I'd say wait, and in the meantime have your carpet professionally cleaned, or do it youself by renting a steam cleaner.
  • I have never found that to be the case. If you keep the new dog in a crate or kennel to train it, it shouldn't be a problem for the new dog. You may want to wait to change the carpet until the new dog is trained.
  • all dogs mark , but the its probably easier to clean the spots than replace carpeting
  • It would be cheaper to have the carpet proffional clean then to buy new carpet. Or instead of new carper replace the carpet with either Laminate, or tile or wood floors (what ever you can afford) that are much easier to clean.
