Components
The major component of the lipozene, according to Lipozene.com, is called glucomannan. Glucomannan is a fiber that review site UltimateFatBurner.com reports is not absorbable.
How it works
Lipozene is reputed to work by delivering extra fiber and forming, according to Lipozene.com, a "dietary sponge." This creates a feeling of fullness with less food intake which leads to weight decrease.
Dosage
The manufacturer's website notes that all dosages are taken with an 8 ounce glass of water and the recommended daily dosage is two lipozene pills, three times a day. However, one or two pills, twice a day, are also acceptable doses according to Lipozene.com.
Expiration
Lipozene, which is made in the United States, has a shelf life of two years.
Considerations
UltimateFatBurner.com offered reservations about lipozene, not the least of which was that the Federal Trade Commission charged the company for false claims about prior products. The site also notes that there are other, inexpensive methods of increasing dietary fiber.
