  • I never got any talk. It was me at the age of 11, asked about periods etc etc. I also was the one who asked for my first bra, my mother and i didnt go shopping together either, she went out and came back with one. I am currently in a year and half serious relationship. We sleep in the same beds, stay over eachothers house etc and i have yet to have the 'talk' I turn 18 next week. I know with my children i will sit them down and have every talk possible as i felt confused growing up and until i met my boyfriend thought that sex was something that was dirty and something you shouldnt talk about. Wow, needed to get that of my chest lol
  • No. I got it from an older girl when I was about 6 and in a hospital, she told it to me in an exchange for some cookies I had.
  • They never actually told me anything about sex. But I remember my mum explaining to me about periods. I don't think she did a very good job, because I spent a few years thinking I was going to start laying eggs, like chickens.
  • No talk what so ever,But a few subjects at school pretty much answered all my questions. And my friends.
  • Too late and too sterile.
  • I'm 15 and I've yet to get it. I wouldn't sit through the whole thing, anyway.
  • Nope...My mother had 3 girls and was actually very shy about talking openly about the whole period/sex issue. Growing up I was shocked when I went over peoples' houses and they would openly say "I have my period" at the dinner table in front of their mom and Dad. I kind of wish my Mom had been more open about things like that. If parents are open from the beginning there really isnt a need for an "official" awkward "talk," it is just something that you natually talk about.
