    I would be thinking of the poor person who would have had to sit next to him if he had got the single seat he wanted.

    i find this humiliating. As an overweight person myself,slimmer people dont understand how difficult this is. I dont eat that much, and i exercise. so dont judge us. it is rude. and makes people insecure. so dont critisize people before you know the real them

    I would be humiliated too. That's pretty embarrassing. I would also think really hard about my weight issue if I couldn't fit into a standard airline seat. I think it could have been done in private. It was rude to do it in front of other people.

    Very humiliating but i have actually been on a flight where they were going to charge a VERY large guy for two seats.

    People are usually not aware that Airlines do this but it is a fact that they do.
