You're reading What are some different color options for shoes/accessories for a salmon colored dress? The only accent color is the greenish-blue shimmer of a few pink sequins on the front. Please help!!

Dutchess, thank you for your prompt answer! I already find it helpful, as it confirms some of my instincts (no gold, possibly silver, blue green for contrast) The dress is a red based salmon, a very strong, vivid salmon. It's for a semi-formal dinner banquet which will, of course, occur in the evening. The season is spring. I have considered white, black and even silver or platinum. I would really like to do a vivid blue green, but finding anything that suits the color of the dress HAS been very difficult. Any particular advice given the updated details? Thanks so much!

Well, if you had time perhaps dyeing shoes to match? Can you change the sequin detail? The more I think about it the more I am inclined to go with the greeny/blue. Perhaps a teal or if you can turquoise especially if you have or and get/borrow a significant piece of turquoise jewellery and then silver shoes and bag.
