Why dont many children and some adults dont like brushing their teeth?

I think it is just a bad habit and it depends on the parents whether they got their kids into the habit or not.

I think it is, for children, an uncomfortable experience, but it is one they must be made get used to, in order not to turn into adults who don't brush their teeth...THEY have acquired a lifelong bad habit.

I don't know, because different people have their personal reasons. I know that my sister doesn't like to brush her teeth because they are so sensitive. And using the cold water hurts her teeth. So does using toothpaste. She has a cat's tongue, too. So her mouth is very sensitive. I'm sure, it must cause her pain to clean her teeth. I love to brush my teeth. I hate having after-tastes unless it's like mint or fruit. But I don't have my sister's sensitivity. That being said, most children who don't like to brush their teeth are just being lazy. I went through that spell. I think most children do.
