Which equation is balanced correctly 2 Fe(NO3) 3 + 3 Na2 S -> Fe2 S3 + 6 NaNO3 Fe(NO3) 3 + 3 Na2 S -> Fe2 S3 + 3 NaNO3 2 Fe(NO3) 3 + 3 Na2 S -> Fe2 S3 + 3 NaNO3?

    The first one has on the left: 2 Fe, 6 NO3, 6 Na, 3 S
    on the right: 2 Fe 3 S, 6 Na, 6 No3 so it balances.
    The second one has on the left 1 Fe, 3 No3, 6 Na, 3 S
    on the right 2 Fe, 3 S, 3 Na, 6 NO3
    (NO3 doesn't balance).
    The third one has on the left 2 Fe, 6 No3, 6 Na, 3 S
    on the right, 2 Fe, 3 S, 3 Na, 3 No3
    (NO3 doesn't balance).

    The first one also looks right. Let Na have one positive charge, then in this equation, S must have 2 negative, Fe have three positive and NO3 one negative. This works on both sides of the equation.
