my wife bought me a one piece swimsuit can men wear them like women do ????????

    Men used to wear one piece swimsuits in the early part of last century. Leotards were invented for men trapeze artists. Weightlifters and wrestlers wore variations of these similar to to one piece swimsuits/ leotards into the 1980's. I don't think it was coincidental that they disappeared from male use when the aerobics of the 80's gave it a female sexy image oriented garment.

    Personally, I think men's fashion choices are limited in many ways. Women can wear manly clothing without any fear of harassment or ostracization, wearas men take a much greater risk. As far as exposing more of the male body-that should be across the board. Women and men morbidly obese should be a little more conservative in exposing rolls. Men with decent body shapes should be given the same latitude as women, to wear something a little more form fitting or revealing In other words, If a man looks okay in a speedo, honestly, what does it matter if a top portion is attached. It may keep something from falling out. No offense to obese people. I have tried on one piece swimsuits and they are comfortable. I would prefer to wear one to a pool. I don't have the audacity to face the scrutiny of narrow scope people who would probably be uncomfortable to see something that unconventional in the midwest. Bravo to those brave enough or who just don't care. I hope it becomes more accepted in the future. I think it can be sexy on both men and women. Who know what may trend in the years to come...

    I don't see why not, my husband wears a woman's one piece swimsuit. He says its a lot more comfortable than trunks. As a woman I happen to agree it is very comfortable. I feels like you're wearing nothing at all swimming but when you get out of the pool you feel it because its full of water.

    yes, my wife assisted that I wear a one piece swimsuit in our indoor pool a few weeks ago. You will be surprised how much more comfortable they really are. I am not going back to wearing swimming trunks. I can careless what others think.
