Does anyone else feel like your answers/questions/comments are being policed by certain supercilious ABers who seemingly can't wait to belittle you for your minor errors (as opposed to overlooking them as most of us would do)?

I've not felt that very much - one person has done that to me and I just ignore it - I have commented back and it only gets worse

In my experience on this site, I never fear that. I fear many forms of backlash from other users, but nothing of that sort. I sincerely hope it never happens

Just so you know, you have an extra word on that question. You should have ended with would. However, points for the use of the word supercilious in your question! ;-)

It happens; And when it happens to me. I take the critisism and admit my mistakes and walk away. (ITS NOT WORTH THE AGGRAVATION) I used to "smart talk" back, but thats not the right way to handle things.

Yes it does happen.I was so upset by this that I went off site for a month. Then I realised that it could be anyone that they pick on. Whatever forum you are in there are always some people that for reasons of their own feel that they have to upset , embarress or humiliate other people. I feel that a very few people on AB are helping in the exodus of many good members.Which is a great pity.
