Very boring, exasperated humour. It seems as if wherever you go, everybody loves them, but they're really not that great... I mean, The Goodies, another comedy troupe at that time, were a whole lot funnier. The Monty Python had a Douglas Adam-like sense of humour that just came off as somewhat pretentious and overdone - a bland kind of random.

Sometimes hilarious, sometimes stupid, more often than not childish public schoolboy humour. However, as individuals I think the monty python team are very talented writers.
