The Loud 'N Clear hearing device uses a small device placed over the ear to amplify sound. The device makes all sounds louder and easier to hear, and is advertised as a device that will help you hear conversations around you more easily.
On the Other: Doesn't Distinguish Between Sounds
The device not only amplifies sounds---but amplifies all sounds---no matter what the wearer's focus is. While a conversation may seem amplified, background noise will also be amplified, therefore the wearer may not be able to hear the conversation more clearly than before.
Bottom Line
The Loud 'N Clear hearing device does not seem to work as advertised. It may make things loud, but not necessarily clear. The device will amplify sounds, but does not make hearing easier as it cannot help differentiate among sounds. It may work as a toy or curiosity, but individuals with hearing loss looking to enhance their hearing should consider another alternative.
