Ingredients

Analysis
According to BullySticks4Dogs.com, bully sticks are composed of about 80 percent crude protein, 1 percent fat, 1 percent fiber, 2 percent ash and no more than 20 percent water.
Process
The typical bully stick-making process begins with the removal of the bull's penis, which is then cleaned, rinsed and dried. According to BullySticks4Dogs.com, it is then pulled, stretched, twisted, braided and then smoked or put through another company-specific process that turns it from muscle and tendon into a long-lasting chewy bully stick.
Sizes
Bully sticks range in size from about 6 inches to 36 inches long.
Warning
Smaller sticks are not recommended for large dogs, especially if your dog tends to eat quickly, since he might choke on the stick while trying to swallow it whole.
