Both almond oil and jojoba oil are excellent moisturizers for the skin and hair; jojoba is common in many beauty products because it similar to natural oil of skin called sebum. Jojoba and almond oil are both used to prevent wrinkles, stretch marks, skin conditions and dry scalp and for other moisturizing purposes.

On the Other: Depends on the Use

Almond oil is highly valued for its dietary uses; jojoba oil many believe will become a source of dietary oil someday, but it is not commonly used as a food and does not have the flavor of almond oil. Both oils are equally valued as carrier oils in aromatherapy because they carry the essential oil scent into the skin.

    Bottom Line

Almond oil is excellent on its own for many uses, but it can be improved by the addition of jojoba oil. According to Encyclopedia of Alternative Medicine, jojoba oil does not oxidize therefore it can be added to other oils to prolong shelf life so they do not become rancid as quickly. Almond oil and jojoba oil can be used together thereby increasing their therapeutic value.
