Several free web conference applications are available, but they may limit the amount of file transfers and capabilities. Pay web conference applications allow the user to use a white board, transfer files, or even use desktop sharing.
Limitations
The only limitation with web conference applications is the awkwardness when trying to explain some more advanced techniques. If the users aren't able to see images of the process relating to the meeting, it can be a hindrance.
Equipment
The only equipment needed on the computer is an Internet connection and a compatible browser. Most online web conference software is compatible with Internet Explorer, Firefox or Chrome.
