    Common Effects

    The most common side effects associated with the ingredients of Enzyte are: dizziness, abdominal pain, nausea and vomiting, diarrhea, dry mouth, thirst, persistent nosebleeds, headaches, constipation, insomnia, gout, flushing, burning, tingling, or itching of the skin, and a metallic taste in the mouth.

These ingredients are niacin, zinc, copper, Korean red ginseng root, ginkgo, pine bark, Tribulus terrestris, arginine, Avena sativa, horny goat weed, maca root, muira puama, saw palmetto, and Swedish flower pollen.

    Considerations

    The maker of Enzyte, Berkeley Nutraceuticals, has received over 3,700 consumer complaints, settled two lawsuits with payments of over $2.5 million dollars, and has been indicted by the U.S. Department of Justice.

    Additional Warnings

    Although Enzyte is advertised as a natural remedy, it has been known to have dangerous interactions with popular medications like Aspirins, Plavix®, Heparin or heparin-like products, as well as common, over the counter anti-inflammatory drugs such as Motrin® and Advil®.
